5.0 star star star star starShe has always been a great doctor but also she has been a huge impact on helping me become a woman that has grown so much. Whenever I needed help, she was there, whenever I needed advice, she was there to give it. She actually listened when a lot of past doctors/therapists chose to not listen and understand. She actually chose to care, and care to listen to what was ever happening and she took the time to help me become what I need to be.

5.0 star star star star starShe is wonderful psychiatrist with a sunny disposition. She reviews patient records before first visit which I found refreshing since I have complex health history. She asks questions, listens intently, and gives kind suggestions for personal growth and care!

5.0 star star star star starI have been going to her for many years. I really feel she the type of physician that not only loves her job, but takes care of her patients and their needs. She doesn't rush the appointments and makes me feel like I can tell her my thoughts.

5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Belford's for years and would never even consider going to any other psychiatrist. She is just plain amazing. She is so sweet and kind and very down to earth with her advice. She is also a master at prescribing the right medications to help with my anxiety and depression and sleep issues. I'm 73 years old so I pray I can see her until I go to the great beyond. She is the Best!!

5.0 star star star star starShe's attentive and no matter how long it's been since the previous appoint, the continuity of care is always present. She always remembers what the issues are from one appt to the next and addresses prior issues before moving forward. She also is supportive and encouraging in the individual needs to move forward and has open exchange of ideas when it comes to care.

5.0 star star star star starI've been seeing her for many years. I've never found anyone more understanding with the knowledge base she has. She pulled me out of a deep depression many years ago. This may sound dramatic, but I think she saved my life.

5.0 star star star star starI had never seen a psychiatrist, so I had no idea what to expect. I was very nervous. Dr. Belford was so calm and gentle in her approach, she really put me at ease. I was rushing through things, worried I was taking too much time, but she spent plenty of time with me going over my symptoms and history. It was very comprehensive. I finally feel like I'm headed in the right direction.

5.0 star star star star starshe takes plenty of time to listen to what the current situations are. she is quiet aware of past history and uses it to assess current conditions. does not make assumptions, asks plenty of the right questions and takes and writes proper assessments and notes in a very timely manner. Love her mannerisms. she is very kind.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very attentive to you and does her best to help. She listens well. She takes notes instead of going on the computer typing them feeling more one on one. I really like that about her. She does her best to make you feel like it is a safe place, and also has a nice air purifying room with all of her plants. I feel that's a big plus for anyone. It's refreshing. For someone just to validate my feelings, for someone to understand and not think I am joking just really makes me feel heard. I appreciate what she does.

5.0 star star star star starI have seen Dr. Belford for many many years as my psychiatrist all the way back to when she was working at the Riverside Frankfort campus! She has been extremely helpful, kind, caring, she listens to me without judging me, she also takes really really good notes about anything and everything I am talking about and that she asks me as well! Since I lost my Mom in August of 2023, I have been a complete damaged mess, and Dr. Belford has been working with me so very much to help me feel better and to help keep my chin up, she is very nurturing to me (almost like a Mom even) she has helped me so very much, more than words can say. She has given me good advice and cares about my safety and wellbeing. I wish she was still going to keep my medicaid when the new year comes because I am going to really really miss her :( She has been so kind and caring, thorough, insightful to me for so many years, I will miss her<3
