5.0 star star star star starDr Gustas explained the results of my EKG and also explained why I needed to head to the ED as soon as possible. The note he gave me to give to the intake person downtown did the trick and I was taken for care more quickly than I ever have before. Please thank Dr Gustas for me for his attentive care and calm demeanor during a difficult morning.

5.0 star star star star starHe was friendly and pleasant. He treated Aracely with respect. He explained what the problem was, and explained what he was going to do. He warned me about the painful part of the procedure, so I'd be prepared. He and Aracely worked efficiently. His post-appointment instructions were clear.

5.0 star star star star starBrought a level of professionalism (and seniority) I don't often see at Urgent Cares (Northwestern and other). He made a referral to a specialist which I found very helpful. And good bedside manner !

5.0 star star star star starI've seen several doctors about issues I've had ongoing for years and was informed it wasn't seriously considered. I addressed the issue and he immediately referred me for a solution finally after so many years of the problems I have been having. I definitely will not be going anywhere else.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gustas took my concerns seriously, treated me very kindly, and addressed additional medical needs beyond what I originally came in for. He made eye contact and really talked to me (rather than staring at a computer like a lot of other doctors do). He explained everything thoroughly and gave me a specialist referral, which made me feel sure of my future care. He is an ideal immediate care physician and an asset to both NM and the Chicago community.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
