5.0 star star star star starDr. Duyka is very kind, concerned and patient. He explained things in a way I could understand. I have been on oxygen for 2 and 1/2 years and never has anyone mentioned using a mask. It has given me so much relief. It is to late for me to have a surgery but my time left is much more comfortable. THANK YOU

5.0 star star star star starAs a new patient Dr. Duyka was welcoming and made me feel comfortable. He has a calming, caring manner. I felt he was patient, listened to my concerns. It was important to me as an older person that the Dr. took the time to go over my instructions insuring my understanding of them.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Duyka was amazing with my 7-year-old son. He had great demeanor with my son and worked at his level to put my son at ease. Dr. Duyka was simultaneously able to communicate to me, about the things I needed to know and be involved in, without scaring my son.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
