5.0 star star star star starDr. Duyka used state of the art tools to analyze and diagnose my medical problems. He explained my medical condition and possible treatments very clearly and added a lot to my understanding of my medical issues. Very personable and easy to talk to

5.0 star star star star starDr Duyka was fantastic. I came in for a ruptured eardrum and he was great- kind, patient, thorough - I felt very comfortable and confident that I was getting the very best care. Would absolutely recommend him!

5.0 star star star star starHe was able to explain things in a way anyone could understand. I think he communicated better than most providers and ultimately because of that I trust his guidance and direction, even for only interacting with him for a few minutes. I'd recommend him to anyone needing ent help!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Duyka swiftly treated me by implanting ear tubes in a short amount of time. He was a good explainer (that is, telling me exactly what he was doing during the procedure and preparing me for how my ears would feel as a result of his actions), and he answered all of my questions.

5.0 star star star star starThe Doctor was kind and thorough, explained things well and made sure to cover them even though I've had previous ENT care elsewhere. I appreciated his perspective and unwillingness to perform unnecessary care that wasn't likely to help my issues at all but revisit if things change in the future.

5.0 star star star star starHe's patient, thorough, and went out of his way to calm my nerves as my anxiety was through the roof! I was really scared having had a really bad bloody nose for the first time in my life and he helped me understand what happened as well as steps/tools should it happen again.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Duyka was friendly, answered all my questions patiently (i.e. didn't rush me) and he and his staff took care of everything I needed in one visit vs. having me make a second appt. to come back at another time. I will certainly keep Dr. Duyka as my ENT doctor from here on out!

5.0 star star star star starHe is one of the best! He is patient and really listens with care and concern. I've had this problem with my sinuses for years and he is the first doctor who has come up with a plan and consist follow ups. He is very smart in explaining my problem and how we will fix it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
