Dr Duyka was the first ENT who worked with me to actually clear my sinus infection. I have a large nasal defect, and he taught me how to successfully irrigate my sinuses with the defect. He listens, then recommends.

Dr. Duyka is so nice and pleasant to talk too. He was always calm and took time to see me and the first time I came in I had to bring my youngest son with me and he didn't make him seem like an inconvenience at all. Which I was worried about. I met with him I think twice before the actual surgery he did for me, and he was always nice every time and explained everything to me with a lot of detail and made sure I understood and always asked if I had any questions. At first I read a lot of bad reviews on Google sites about Dr. Duyka so I was worried but I'm not sure why so many people said negative things. I never had any issues like that with him. He's definitely one of my favorite doctors I've ever seen. He also messaged me after my surgery a few days later and let me know it was a cyst and it was removed. I would definitely recommend him if anyone was looking for an ENT at northwestern

Dr Duyka greeted me nicely and answered all my questions and did a full exam and said I was fine and to be patient and if symptoms got worse he prepared a cat scan order if needed. I do not expect to need it.
