5.0 star star star star starDr. Guitart is an excellent CTCL dr, he does research for CTCL & Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, Dermatology students are required to spend 6 weeks learning about this CTCL & he works them to help them recognize this very rare disease. He is very concerned about my general health in addition to this disease I have & 2 variants- follicular mycosis fungoides & large cell. He did a genetic study of my recent biopsy & he brought the results to discuss with me.

4.0 star star star star star_borderExtremely likely - there aren’t that many specialized dermatologists who treat CTCL Minus two just because I don’t have reasons specific to him except he treats my rare condition

5.0 star star star star starHe is knowledgeable, very patient oriented, best in his CTCL derm & derm pathology anywhere. Because of the rarity of CTCL, he is still able to find a solution to any problem that comes up & continues to try something else if it's not working. He takes as much time is needed at each visit, listening to problems that I had since the last visit & answering any questions. He is available to call if there are new symptoms & he will have me come in the next Tuesday. He is personable.

5.0 star star star star starPersonnel are friendly and courteous. Dr. Guitart and residents/fellows are very thorough and knowledgeable and willing to answer the patient's questions. I like that they give the patient the after visit summary to take home with them.

5.0 star star star star starHe is very personable and doesn't seem to rush patients like other specialists. Plus he really has the science behind the situation and explains the side effects of medication and radiation and phototherapy.
