5.0 star star star star starDr. Guitart is the absolute best- he is brilliant, compassionate, kind, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Dr. Guitart has always been incredibly thorough and patient with me while discussing my condition, treatments and concerns, and he has a natural ability to put me at ease throughout all of this. I can't thank him enough, and my appreciation for all he has done for me will never diminish.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Guitart is top notch, brilliant and always frank, personable and kind. Makes all the difference. I always feel better about my condition after a briefing form him. He also consults with my other doctors to get the whole picture.

5.0 star star star star starThis Doctor is the best! As a CTCL patient I have come far under Dr Guitar's close care and observation. Slow and steady, my treatment has been very effective in getting my rare form of cancer under control. Nurse Kelli seems to be instrumental for the excellent service rendered by this Team, under Dr Guitart's guidance. Highly recommended!

5.0 star star star star starLike I said before Dr Guitart is an expert in this area and has been tremendous asset to my life in dealing with this condition. I fly in from Atlanta to see him every 6 months to monitor my condition. He is a God send.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Guitart and his staff are respectful and caring. I am always happy to see Dr. Guitart. He makes me feel welcome and I feel like I am important and special. Dr. Guitart and Dr. Jason [ ] have seen me at my worst. They both have helped me to be alive today. I am thankful for both of these doctors. Excellent listeners and communicated well with my other doctors from MD Anderson in the past. I am still puzzled why Northwestern allowed an amazing doctor Jason [ ] to go. I am thankful that Dr. Guitart is still at Northwestern because he is an amazing doctor. When I see the students, I always reiterate that they are learning from the best. Thank you Dr. Guitart. I also would like to thank the 3rd year student Paola [ ] for being pleasant, respectful, and a good listener.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
