5.0 star star star star starPA-C Pooja surprised me as I would have guessed she was an MD fresh out of medical school _ she was so knowledgeable and thorough in her exam, explanations, and answers to my many questions, going the extra mile. I looked up PA-C: Physician Assistant-Certified, a healthcare professional who is trained to diagnose and treat illnesses under the supervision of a physician. I even thanked her extra at the end of our visit after my nebulizer treatment and told her how impressed I was with her care.

5.0 star star star star starShe was extremely kind, answered all my questions and helped me understand everything that I had questions about - she didn't just use the big doctor words and leave me confused which I really appreciated. She left me feeling confident in my results and understanding what I needed to do from there on out.

5.0 star star star star starMs Pooja Patel far exceeded my expectations of thoroughness. She tied my back pain & urinary incontinence to possible spinal compression that should be checked out asap. She did this through being sharp, asking the right questions, and excellent listening skills.

5.0 star star star star starIt was close to closing and Dr. Patel didn't rush the appointment. She communicated more to me than anticipated which was greatly appreciated. The front desk staff seemed to want me to take a virtual consultation follow-up vs. staying to meet with Dr. Patel in person which was frustrating

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
