5.0 star star star star starDr. Pokey, is a very thorough Doctor. She's very kind with patients and possesses very good bedside manners. I believe that when we have to go to the urgent care. Is because not only we are not feeling well but also we are so vulnerable and having a doctor that is knowledgeable and has bedside manners makes all the difference in the world!

5.0 star star star star starGreat attitude and listened to my concerns. She understood and was receptive to my worries about infection etc. due to being immunocompromised because I am on [RX] and [RX]. As to my possible allergy to Amoxicillin, she suggested possibly seeing an Allergist to be tested for it. I had a mild rash after my hip replacement in 1998 and they switched my antibiotic thinking it could be from [RX]. She was the first doctor in almost 28 years to suggest getting tested for it.

5.0 star star star star starMe thinks I won the APRN lotto. Anne was focused and efficient while being genuinely friendly, attentive and fully present. She was thorough in her review of My Chart with its complicated history of comorbidities and extensive list of medications. Most importantly, she attended to my open wound in a careful fashion while also providing an understandable explanation of the what she was seeing and how she was going to treat my condition. She also provided me with a useful recommendation regarding my subsequent dressing of the wound and the importance of letting the wound breathe whenever possible, a complicated matter as it was an open wound and I was on the road traveling. Her prescription for the type of anti-biotic given my other heath conditions was explained was as the administration of it. Follow up care if necessary w/my PCP in WA state upon my return flight home was discussed as was useful advice re: paying attention to any signs of infection before that travel.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough in the exam she outlined what was going to happen explain she was not an ER facility but would try to get as much done as she could or x-ray it was done. EKG was done, but by the time they got to doing the blood test, she's decided they weren't going to figure it out anyway and obviously the ER had not figured out what was going on so she was just going to prescribe the same medicine I received at the ER which was prednisone

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
