3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe kept quickly naming out numerous different kinds of treatment options all at once I couldn't keep up with her and she didn't teach me anything I didn't already know about my hives situation other than there is basically no point in testing me. I told her multiple times that nothing in my life has changed to have been a possible reason for my hives but she kept asking for more possibilities even though I said literally NOTHING has changed. I don't think she was listening very closely to what I was saying to her.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe is nice but sometimes confusing. We discussed what would happen today but somethings we talked about didn’t happen. Thought today would include a poke test and possibly blood draw since we questioned the last blood draw done in dec 2021 and thought we could do milk challenge soon after egg but she said waiting a year, seems a long time to wait.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mirza was friendly and listened to what I had to say. She looked at me when she was talking, not looking at the computer. I found her professional but warm and friendly! I highly recommend Dr. Mirza.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mirza was fantastic. Provided me with a lot of insight and was also super personable. Took their time with me and made me feel heard. Only downfall was reading my after visit notes where my preferred pronouns were not utilized. They are listed in my chart, along with my gender identity, so it’s a little disappointing.

5.0 star star star star starThe second half of my visit Dr Mirza went into detail about how my allergy came about and what I did to treat it. I have never been officially tested and I have long wanted to. After discussing with her if I had food allergy, the general consensus seems ro be pointing at environmental factors. She agreed with me that an allergy panel would be beneficial. I was surprised but also delighted that she was willing to get me in 1 week later to do the panel. Mind you, 7:30am is really early, but Mr Mirza found a way to get me in soon for that whereas the penicillin test I will wait on. I can see how Dr Mirza knows what to look for and how she talked about my plan of care reassured me and kept me ease. Never in the visit have i felt rushed or talked over, we had a very engaging and wonderful conversation not only about my concerns but also work, food, schooling, more food, interests, etc. Then before I knew it, i spent maybe 45 minutes between her and Dr Beverly.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care.
