3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI did not feel there was any type of sense of urgency or real concern. She did inform me that three surgeons went to University of Chicago which is concerning with all the miscommunication I've been having.

5.0 star star star star starShe explained everything and what the options were. I felt hopeful for my sister and plan to schedule an appointment for my self! So many internists, gp's say there is nothing they can do abd that is NOT true! I am spreading the word!

5.0 star star star star starShe is so wonderful, this was my first time seeing her and she just make you comfortable from the time she walks in to the time she walks out. She asks questions, lets you talk about your symptoms or what ever is going on with you and explains what she’s doing and why as she goes along. Very efficient in time and not making you feel you’re being rushed out for her next patient

5.0 star star star star starMaria was very pleasant and patient. What I liked the most is that she was always telling me what to expect, and providing details about what she was doing and why. She made me feel very comfortable, gave me her full attention and was simply great to meet with.

5.0 star star star star starAs stated before, she was absolutely amazing. She answered all of my questions, she made me feel very comfortable, and she reassured me that I was not the only one in the world with my health condition. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had in this ENTIRE health system. All of the information/knowledge she had and shared with me helped me immensely.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
