5.0 star star star star starDr. Gururangan is kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He asks thoughtful questions and takes time to make sure I understand everything about my care. The nurses who work in his office are wonderful! They are very helpful in addressing all the questions I send via MyChart. I am always confident that I will have my needs met in a timely manner.

5.0 star star star star starDr. G exemplified patience, bedside manner, clear communication and how that affects a client and healthcare worker relationship. I wish I could articulate better how much I appreciated his help. From a much younger/less experienced healthcare worker: thank you for your thorough care and being the type of professional I strive to be like.

5.0 star star star star starThis is my second time seeing him and he is just as great as he was last year when I saw him. Didn't try to rush through my appointment and came up with a great plan for my next step with seizures.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
