5.0 star star star star starI was very impressed with Dr. Bazavan - he listened to my questions and concerns, answered them and also made sure I was fully understanding what he was explaining to me. I appreciated the time he took with to explain my holter monitor results. Overall I felt Dr. Bazavan was a very genuine, intelligent, kind and understanding doctor.

5.0 star star star star starI had the fortunate opportunity to first connect with Dr. Basavan last year when my parents both underwent heart surgeries weeks apart from one another. Today's visit was for me.Dr. Basavan's ability to connect with his patients and provide exceptional care is remarkable. His curiosity yields extensive medical knowledge of historic and current cardiac trends that come with patient understanding. I truly feel he is just the best, the absolute best.

5.0 star star star star starNot only did he spend the time to talk AND listen. He apologized for being delayed which wasn’t even that bad of a delay. I just took a nice nap. And he walked me out to the reception area to schedule testing.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first appointment, so I can’t give a 10 yet. Dr. B. was very good at explaining and took time with you. I felt very confident in him. He is also concerned about the cost of expensive meds.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
