At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
I was very impressed by the professionalism of the entire staff of this office. I liked the doctor very much! My disease requires me to have blood work done periodically. I was able to have my blood test done right there at the office without having to go to another facility (lab). This is a big convenience for me!
Dr. Geevarghese is such a likable doctor and a great listener. Very caring and knowledgeable. I'm new to rheumatology, and I liked how he was quick to do testing to rule out other conditions and make certain my symptoms weren't related to issues outside of the rheumatology realm.
Very professional, courteous, kind. The receptionists, both at the office and on the phone, are the best. Wait time in the office or on the phone its very short, if not immediate. Callbacks happen very quickly, not hours later.
Very kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring doctor. Doesn't rush you and gives you time to ask any questions that you may have. He gives you excellent answers and advice. I have alot of confidence in him and am glad to have him for my doctor.
He was very knowledgeable in the area of my concerns. He explained why he overruled the other doc's plan for me and wanted me to understand my situation instead of just throwing some pills at me and saying next.
Dr. Geevarghese has essentially changed my life. He is the first rheumatologist who truly listened and has me on a treatment path that is not excessive. I have never felt better and without use of steroids or tons of NSAIDS. I'm so appreciative for his guidance and care.
The Rheumatology staff is outstanding. From my first appointment, everyone I have spoken to has been so caring and very quick to respond. The phone system is the greatest I love that, in many cases, the patient is quickly connected to the office staff instead of waiting for a callback and then playing phone tag...Being diagnosed with a rheumatic disease was initially frightening, and I wondered what the future would bring to an otherwise active and fit 72-year-old. Dr. Geevarghese quickly put me at ease with his great bedside manner and thorough explanation of the disease, treatment, and reassuring prognosis. Besides being very knowledgeable, thorough, and caring, Dr. Geevarghese has to be one of the most likable doctors around.
He took his time going over blood work. Which nobody else did. He also confirmed that I didn't have Lupus. Which by another doctor I was told I did. Very personable and talked to me like a person, not just a number
He took the time to listen to me and my concerns. He explained what he thought to me and answered all of my questions. He did not rush through our appointment. He also made me comfortable talking to him.
He is great. Good questions and explanations- and felt like a regular appointment even with COVID and that is difficult to do. He also asked questions about my life during this time of safety precautions.
Dr. Geevarghese was the first rheumatologist I've had in about 20 years who took the time to sit, listen, and take time to understand me. He didn't jump to rushed conclusions for me, and he was ridiculously thorough. I felt really cared about and considered in how he talked to me. He is also very calming and has great bedside which goes a long way. Dr. G is incredible, and I can't recommend him enough.
It was my first time in that office and everything was very efficient, clean, and friendly. It was also my first visit with Dr. Geevarghese. Absolutely wonderful bedside manner - I was relieved. There was no rushing, he listened and took time to explain my issues as well as being empathetic about my hesitation with the recommended medications. He made sure I clearly understood why they were best for my treatment. I trust him and hope I have positive results.
He took time to listen & he likes details! He gave me a plan to try for next 3 months that fits me instead of just handing me a prescription. We both agreed if I need that in the future then we'll visit when the time comes.
This office has been extremely responsive. E/Mails are responded to immediately - and generally followed up by a call from the Doctor. Dr. G closes every call by asking me if he answered all of my questions. My experience with my PCP is a complete 180 from this --- so am pleasantly surprised and grateful with this office and doctor.
Dr. G. was very friendly, was patient, listened to my concerns, was professional and made me feel comfortable. He asked for my input in my care, plan for pain management and was sincere in trying to help me figure out what was the best thing to do for now. I would highly recommend him. His staff was helpful, attentive and professional.
Dr. Geevarghese was extremely patient explaining each step to my well being, going over each my concerns, all my medication. I never seen any one that much caring knowledgeable and professional.I walk in with tears and fear and walk away with smile.
And for the first time in the entirety of my almost 37 years, I felt heard. He listened, he asked questions, was honest and polite. He also thoroughly explained the next steps and invited questions about those steps. I left with a renewed optimism from a doctor's office in a very, very long time.
