1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI explained multiple times I have poor pain control due to chronic pain. She told me minutes before entering the OR she would not prescribe narcotics. She said, "Do you want to proceed or not?". I should have been told that 6 weeks prior at my appointment. Also, her resident documented a preoperative H&P and I never met him. I thought he had to actually perform a physical and talk to me. Her APN listed "opioid use" in my chart as a diagnosis without talking to me about it. As a result, I felt discriminated against regarding pain management.

5.0 star star star star starNot only did the doc do a great job on the surgery, now with complications she explained not one but two different paths to take to regain my control and decided that a medication that was not working needed to be stopped. Took lots of time and answered my questions directly. She is the best. I would certainly go to her again if I needed further surgery...

5.0 star star star star starI believe she is an expert in this kind of surgery. (I had this kind of surgery done in the past at a different hospital and it was an entirely different experience.) She was very compassionate and listened to my experiences, so that I felt comfortable that they would not happen again. I also appreciated that she gave me a lot of information about the surgeries, risks, side effects, etc., during my office visit with her, in written form to take home and read, through all the different discharge papers, and through her team. Her team was great in answering questions and dealing with my concerns. I'm very grateful to all of them!

5.0 star star star star star1. She is an incredibly skilled surgeon. 2. She must have worked extremely diligently to perfect her skills in performing the HoLEP procedure. 3. She seems to be one of the few urological surgeons who has reached a high level in performing the HoLEP procedure. 4. She is the most compassionate and caring urologist I have come across.

5.0 star star star star starDr Krambeck has the gift of putting me at ease, explaining each step of my visit. It’s obvious that she requires the same behavior from her assistants, as they were informative also. I researched Dr Krambeck and discovered that she is a leader in the field. I would recommend her without hesitation.

5.0 star star star star starDoctor is very pleasant, knowledgeable, with well-practiced skills. Moreover she understands that having a deeper connection to the patient does promote the successful application of procedures and/or results. Conversely, doctors that generate a robotic type of connection would most probably forecast an inferior outcome. I prefer the former characteristic in my doctors.

I have no issues or complications after surgery that need to be addressed as far as I'm concerned surgery was 100% successful. My recovery Was Pain free. Dr. Krambeck and Dr. Silver make a great duo. If you look up either one of their names in the dictionary It will say professional at their finest

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
