Dr Guler spent a good deal of time with me discussing my aorta issue found on my CT scan. He showed me the actual scans to explain further. Also, went over what symptoms I would have if the ulceration would dissect. Also explained treatment if there would be a problem in the future. I now have a good understanding of my issue.

Dr. Erhan Guler, MD Exceptional Doctor and complete with a team of Nurses and receptionists. I had Mitral valve repair and selected Dr. Guler's team to do the heart surgery. The surgery went flawless, and recovery is much easier than I expected. I had a wonderful caring team of nurses at the CDH NW hospital in Winfield IL. Visits and check ups afterwards, my chart messages helped to answer any concern or question after the surgery. I considered robotic surgery but decided to go the traditional method and could not be happier selecting this team. In post opp from ICU to private room to the early morning team of pharmacy and doctors, discussing my tubes recovery efforts and hot flashes in temperature, a super smart team helping to fine tune medicine and tests. My hope is you also trust this team, and this review helps to re-assure you. Thank you Dr Guler and your team of nurses, going above and beyond. You are in good hands.

I think Dr. Guler is a good surgeon. That said, it would be more beneficial if he had the time to explain the surgery and what should happen as a result, as well as possible risks going forward.

I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Guler and his team that cared for me in my CABG operation. Every member of his team displayed unparalleled professionalism, skill, and dedication to my well being allowing me to be confident and comfortable under their care. Their teamwork was nothing short of extraordinary. I was impressed by their collective attention to detail and ability to work as a cohesive unit. No question went unanswered, no concern overlooked, and clear communication left me informed and empowered during my journey. Dr. Guler was masterful, efficient and genuinely committed to my best interest. He turned a serious and scary experience into one where I felt secure and supported every step of the way. I am beyond grateful for the outstanding care provided by him and his team. I cant thank them enough for giving me a renewed and second chance at life! Dr. Guler and his team are a credit to their profession and I would eagerly and cheerfully recommend them to anyone needing cardiac care.
