5.0 star star star star starI was a patient of Dr. Shahrrava prior to coming to Northwestern Cardiology. Dr. Shahrrava is very knowledgeable about her profession but what she truly excels in is her ability to communicate with her patients. I greatly appreciate her candid explanation of my medical situation, and what I must do to improve it. I have had about 4 appointments with Dr. Shahrrava and I have never felt as though I was rushed.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Anahita Shahrrava was amazing! She is very friendly and took the time to look over all of my previous medical records to suggest the best treatment options. She was very patient and took the time to listen to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. I am so happy my Electrophysiologist referred me to her. I won't go anywhere else.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
