5.0 star star star star starDr. Laycock listened carefully and was totally responsive to me in our visit today. She is extremely knowledgeable, but also very friendly. I was totally comfortable with her, and really appreciated her attention and kindness. She was efficient, but I felt she would gladly spend a lot of time with me. This was an excellent visit and I walked out with great information that will be helpful to me.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Laycock is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have encountered. She takes the time to get to know her patients, to listen to their concerns, to answer their questions, and to identify treatments and solutions to their problems. I would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

5.0 star star star star starDr Laycock is the best Doctor in the whole world. She always takes her time and does not rush you. She is very friendly and puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable. Dr Laycock always makes time for me if I have an urgent medical situation even when her day is packed, and she then remains super calm and easy going, and takes her time talking with you to completely understand what is going on, she listens to you and discusses best options and let's you participate in the decision. She is so very sweet, and is a genuinely kind and caring person. All of Dr. Laycock's staff are amazing also. They all reflect the same kind and caring attitude, and I know I can trust them to communicate my needs to Dr Laycock when I call in and expedite when needed. The entire team is super friendly. I often have to drive an hour and 40 minutes or more to see Dr Laycock due to traffic and where I currently live, but I will never change my Doctor! She and her team are the very BEST! I feel blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor and supporting medical team.

5.0 star star star star starBoth the doctor and nurse took all the time needed to make sure they understood any concerns. The doctor came up with an action plan and made sure I understood it. I really appreciate knowing my care is in their hands.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
