5.0 star star star star starDr Mugisha was so kind and welcoming, and put me to ease immediately. He didn't sit in front of me and read my records. He had read them before I arrived. He spoke to me intelligently and also so that I could understand what he was explaining.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mugisha is both thorough and caring. He takes the time to explain both the theory and the science in detail. Plus he was able to go thru the math behind my cardiac risk factors(I am a math person). I Highly recommend.

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor was patient and a great listener. He asked me questions in a friendly yet serious manner and made me feel comfortable. We made a bit of small talk which was great. He seemed knowledgeable yet explained things to me in laymans terms. He was prompt on time and polite with the staff and myself. Well dressed, clean and good nature behaving .I feel safe about my future health when he's my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mugisha was very timely, knowledgeable, respectful. He took the time to listen to my concerns, gave options, respectfully educated me as the patient, I have felt discouraged with doctors dismissing my thoughts or concerns, and he validated me while still guiding and directing my care with his medical expertise.

5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Mugisha for almost 2 years. He is always prepared, having obviously updated himself on my chart before seeing me. He is caring, and checks in about any and all concerns I might have. Always willing to answer questions and explain things. His calm personality is reassuring. I always leave my appointments feeling encouraged and upbeat.

5.0 star star star star starHe got my blood pressure under control! This is the first time in 5 years that a medication regimen helped reduce my BP to normal levels. He looked at me with a wholistic lens. His staff communicated with me on My Chart and had me take BP's at home 2-3 hours. My primary was not able to control my blood pressure and I was self-referred. I'm very glad I made this decision! Thank you NM!

5.0 star star star star starLast visit he wanted me to get a stress test but when I called two days later to schedule the test had not been ordered. I waited two more days before I could make the appointment. The earliest they had by the was two days before my June vacation. I don't know if I'll have the results in time.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
