5.0 star star star star starWonderful therapist. She listens and has been very pleasant to work with on recovery. She'll answer any questions and her warm, inviting, cordial demeanor makes me feel extremely hopeful on my improvements post surgery. I am very lucky patient to have her as my therapist.

5.0 star star star star starMy hand is much better: that's the main point. And it was her skilled training of me in my rehab that got my hand back in shape. Capable, concerned, good communicator. Answered questions and asked questions. Pushed me, but told me when certain pains were red flags and had me slow down on some exercises. Good, wise occupational therapy.

5.0 star star star star starHas done a great job of telling me how to make progress in my recovery, keeps careful records to mark my progress, tells me where I've improved or where there is little change. She answers all my questions. I'm pleased with my post-surgical recovery.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI cannot give her a 10 because I do not know how her work would compare to other OT staff, but she does a great job and has been concerned about the fit of my brace and my comfort level with the brace and clearly she is detail oriented with measurements of my finger movements which is part of my recovery. She is a great professional occupational therapist.

5.0 star star star star starShe seems very knowledgeable. She is good about asking me questions, probing about levels of pain or asking how my trying the various exercises were going. She has helpful answers to my questions. She has pushes me too (I certainly work at recovery more because of her). That's good. Still, she does not come across as unsympathetic. Strikes a good balance of pushing the patient and sympathizing with the patient.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
