5.0 star star star star starI have not had a doctor take the time to sit down and get to know me on my first patient visit like Dr Heo did today. It left an excellent first impression. She seemed to really care about my health history, she dug in deep to understand my family history and risk factors and advise me. Her exam was quick but thorough and she was on time which almost never happens. She even took time after the exam to sit and talk about our current families, stress levels regarding work and parenting balance, and our kids' futures. I truly appreciated her time and sincerity in this because getting to know a new doctor can be challenging and impersonal, when you really want to feel connected to the person providing you important health advice and guidance. Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very thorough. She reviews your chart and advises you on test that you need to schedule for and it doesn't necessarily pertain to gynecology. She reminds you to schedule for a mammogram if warranted and places the order if deemed. She's very friendly and professional.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Heo is wonderful! She is professional and knowledgeable, but also very compassionate and kind. She addressed all of my questions before I even needed to ask them and made me feel like she really cared. She took her time with me and did not rush the appointment. I drove over an hour to see her and will definitely continue to make the drive to stay with her... great doctors are worth it!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
