Dr. Nathan is simply amazing, as I've stated in my other surveys. He has taken me in under his care for my seizures when other neurologists wouldn't throughout my 20+ years of having seizures. Now, my seizures are under control and I finally have someone who cares about my neurological wellbeing. I'm extremely grateful for Dr. Nathan, Natalie, and the NW Neurology team.

Dr. Nathan was able to recognize that a current medication was severely affecting my husband's personality and day-to-day living. Once the medication was changed, he began to thrive and regain his personality and his sense of well-being. There has been a remarkable change, and we are so grateful for that.

Dr Nathan is awesome! I never feel rushed through appointments, and he is easy to talk to. Recently he took the time to learn about a new medication and try to work out insurance coverage for me

He took the time to go over my test results with me, viewing my images with me and explaining what I was looking at. Most importantly, he listened to what I had to say.

See previous question. He saw me during his lunch hour. He's moving to PA for a year and will follow my case via telehealth. He ordered a battery of tests and promised to call me with each result.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
