5.0 star star star star starI found Candice to be friendly and approachable, as well as a good listener when asking questions designed to learn about my concerns as a patient and then explaining the results of the treatment and next steps in the process.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit with Candice Ciancio as the nurse practitioner I had been seeing has relocated. Ms. Ciancio had clearly taken the time to familiarize herself with my history with the service. She asked questions and invited questions from me. I felt she was very thorough and reassuring. Any concern I may have had about starting over with someone new has vanished.

5.0 star star star star starCandice N. Ciancio was very helpful and professional when I had my first appointment with her today. She spend all the time I needed, listened carefully to my concerns, offered excellent suggestions, and we made a plan for future care that I really appreciate! I was very impressed with her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
