I don't feel like just a number. Joanna Hansen cares about truly addressing root causes of behavior and challenges while discussing medication as one of many tools rather than a the primary tool. She never makes me feel rushed and I'm always seen.

I feel heard when I speak with JoAnna. She has a calming voice that I feel comfortable with and she definitely understands my needs as a person with an issue that's not easily addressed. She is a wonderful physician and I'd feel lost without her.

Joanna Hansen, CNP was very thorough and truly helpful. She wasn't in a hurry to simply inquire whether the presentations were effective and ask if I needed a refill. We had a conversation that was helpful and she fully understands how to help people who have a long history of trauma. She is a great asset for Northwestern. I hope you appreciate her.

I have never had a psychiatrist or psychologist who was willing to obviously read my prior medical history and reports, nor devote so much time interviewing me. She asked some difficult questions and spoke very honestly to me even truths that were necessary and may prove to be helpful despite possibly being painful. Joanna Hansen is truly dedicated to helping her patients. I'm fortunate to have her for my mental healthcare. You are lucky to have such an excellent professional working for you.
