5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit with Dr. Kim. She made you feel so welcomed. She was pleasant, thorough, and kind. She reviewed my past test results and how they compared to my present test results. She discussed a diet, calcium and multivitamin plan. She wanted to make sure I contacted her if I fell and wanted me to contact her right away. We talked of a present and future plan. She explained thoroughly and talked how the medication Reclast works to protect my bones and the affects of too much Reclast. She answered and listened to all my questions. She talked about my future plans with her and the appointments I need to register for. I appreciated my time with Dr. Kim and truly felt how caring and kind she was. I look forward to the relationship we will build with one another.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kim spent thorough time reviewing my health history, addressing my concerns, and making tweaks based on my feedback and personal data (ie lab results, prior appointment notes, and insulin pump readings). I felt comfortable, encouraged, heard, and not judged. I genuinely felt she cared about doing the best for my health and am grateful for her help.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kim was exceptionally helpful in explaining my medical situation --- the perfect combo platter of educational, empathetic and earnest in advising/counseling next steps. AND - she reported back on my lab results within HOURS of my test -- which I found remarkable.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
