5.0 star star star star starAndrea has great bedside manner and seemed to make a quick but accurate diagnosis. She was very kind as well and made my family feel at ease. She went above and beyond, letting my toddlers look at her stethoscope since they love to play doctor at home.

4.0 star star star star star_borderMs. Parrott listened to my lungs and ordered a chest x-ray, thinking that pneumonia needed to be ruled out. On looking at the x-ray, Ms. Parrott saw an area that did not look normal on one lung. She pronounced that I had pneumonia. I was sent home to get antibiotic at pharmacy and go home to rest. Later in the day, she called to say the radiologist did not agree with her assessment of pneumonia and that the sounds she was hearing were bronchitis. I was pleased that she called to tell me of the different diagnosis, even though her first assessment was wrong. That develops trust. It is on my record that I was diagnosed with pneumonia, as the next day a nurse called to say I should be checking with my primary for follow-up to that diagnosis.

5.0 star star star star starAndrea takes her time and sincerely cares about her patients. She is curious and strives to help. We have all been to urgent care before, but this visit with Andrea felt unrushed and her genuineness made me certain I hadn't just been given the once-over. She really looked and she really listened.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Andrea was so kind and compassionate toward my son. It was very refreshing to experience such care and concern. I felt he got the best possible care with all the right treatment options. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness in her followup care recommendations. This was a wonderful visit.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
