5.0 star star star star starI think she's the best doctor I could have. I feel completely taken care of with any problem or symptom I tell her about regarding my kidneys. She's attentive and does exhaustive medical exams to be sure and know how she'll help you. She finds a way for you to feel better. I feel absolutely grateful and blessed that she is my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starFor the reasons above, I would certainly recommend Dr. Gillies, and Northwestern in general for that matter. I've had nothing but good/great experiences with all of the doctors and staff I've encountered.

5.0 star star star star starGave me unfiltered diagnosis of my condition. Dr. Gillies was academically excellent and although her practical implication of care was not as great, she had enough sense to find the one who could accomplish the task. Bravo

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
