5.0 star star star star starShe is excellent, personable, and experienced but seemed rushed to see the next in line. I am sure that is not her fault. Has the ability to take good care of patients but far too rushed to answer, discuss, and research all of the facets of a visit.

5.0 star star star star starShe’s by far the most thorough cardiologist I’ve been seen by. I feel Very confident that my heart health is her top concern. She takes time to explain and asks if I have questions. Very happy with Dr. Mendelson and her staff as well.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe seems very knowledgeable and very friendly to work with. That said, she seemed somewhat unprepared for my visit. Looked at my teat results for the first time when she came into the room. Seemed like the prep should have been done ahead of time

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mendleson not only takes an interest in my health, but she cares about my personal interests and asks about my horses :) She goes above and beyond for her patients and I count myself so very lucky to be a patient of hers! She is very smart, and makes very well thought out decisions. It gives me peace of mind to know I have a cardiologist I can trust. Dr. Mendelson is also fantastic with communication, she always shares the rationale behind decisions and I truly feel listened to and feel like I have an active say in my care, too. I honestly just love her! Hands down the best and feel so very lucky to be in her care.

5.0 star star star star starI absolutely adore Dr. Mendelson. I have had heart issues since birth and she is am9ng the very best I have ever worked with. She is intelligent, friendly, and professional. Not only do I know I am in very competent hands, but I honestly like her personally, too. She is completely fabulous and I can't say enough good things about her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mendelson took the time to listen to my concerns and to review my doctor's notes before beginning a physical exam. Afterwards, her conversation with me was compassionate and sincere in helping me understand my condition, and to see the simple daily changes I could make to help myself. I left feeling at ease and more in control of my situation.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
