5.0 star star star star starShe doesn’t miss a trick. Always on top of the situation and has your best interests in mind. She is very mindful of where in the process we are and always making sure we are aware of our options. I always feel we are in good hands with her. I would like to mention that we also had a short interview with Diana. Wow! Another great employee of Northwestern Hospital who has your best interests in mind. What really impresses me is that while they have their computer open, they are asking question after question without referring back to the computer. They then turn and enter your answers as the process continues. They all are excellent listeners and people persons. It’s just what the patient needs and is expecting from a wonderful organization.

5.0 star star star star starLauren nis extremely knowledgeable about spinal cord stimulation provided by Dr Rosenow. She answered every question without hesitation regarding neuromodulation. She never hesitated with a response regarding chronic pain but was unfamiliar specifically with my type of diagnosis. She represented the department & Boston Scientific very well. I was under the wrong impression that Dr Rosenow would be my pain management physician & she would be a team member. However, they will be part of the implant team, along with BS’s representatives when I decide to accept spinal cord stimulation. It would be a pleasure to put my trust in Lauren & Dr Rosenow’s surgical team at that time.

5.0 star star star star starLauren is well trained and integrates with the rest of the neurosurgical team. She has excellent listening skills and doesn’t rush the visit. She gives me information appropriate to my own educational level, and involves me in decision making. She is friendly and empathetic.

5.0 star star star star starI have been very pleased with the care given by nurse Lauren. Nurse Lauren has been very kind and helpful. NWM nurses are by far some of the most caring people I have ever seen. They go above and beyond to help you in anyway they can.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
