5.0 star star star star starLaurin was great. An error was made in replacing a hearing aid and Laurin immediately took ownership of the issue. She was very apologetic, kind and compassionate. Plus, she persuaded the Provider to expedite sending the proper replacement, provided us with a loaner hearing aid and proactively found time on her calendar for us to come back in within a week. So very kind!

5.0 star star star star starFor all of the reasons listed above. In addition, Laurin never gives up. She wants you to know that she has your back when it comes to your hearing. I'm never left wondering if things could be better. She ensures that things are. She's a tireless researcher.

5.0 star star star star starLaurin Sharp is terrific - very knowledgeable, perceptive and kind. She's given me confidence in wearing hearing aids for the first time because I know she'll support me if and when an issue arises.

5.0 star star star star starI was in for a hearing aid check, but Dr. Sharp was able to shift gears when I said that I had an ear infection while out of town that had affected my hearing. She checked the hearing in that ear and was able to get me in for an appointment with a Physician's Assistant on the same day to see what treatment I could get.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
