5.0 star star star star starShe was great. Really listened to me and put things together. I felt like I was in the care of someone very competent who I also really liked. She’s my go to person going forward. I also liked Natassia last year. Indication that this is a good group.

5.0 star star star star starWe had a wonderful transfer of care conversation, she really took the time to get to know me, ask lots of questions not just about my medical history but my broader life to understand how family and work could impact my health. When we spoke, there was no sense of condescension that she was the doctor who knew all. Really it was a conversation about how we could partner so I get to a better place with my health.

5.0 star star star star starShe has a caring vibe and is very patient answering questions. Fantastic eye contact during discussions. She also reviewed my medical history since my last visit before my current visit which showed she did her homework.

5.0 star star star star starIt was my first visit with her, and I could tell she wanted me to tell her all the details of my medical history. And she asked if there’s anything MyChart missed some medications. Great experience.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very attentive towards her patients. She always makes sure I understand and checks for any questions before ending our session. I appreciate that she talked through every step of a procedure to ease my nerves. She makes her patients feel comfortable and takes their concerns seriously.

5.0 star star star star starMaura demonstrated what I think were exceptional listening and engagement skills. She was focused on establishing a baseline and giving simple non pharma solutions to a marginal high blood pressure issue. She was interested in possible comorbid anatomical conditions related to that issue. I think that Maura may well be an exceptional PCP.

5.0 star star star star starShe is just great. She is a good listener and calm, and great at explaining things. Also she’s good at getting back on track with what we’re talking about after I veer off the point sometimes.

5.0 star star star star starI really love my PCP, Dr. Maura Jacobs. She's the first doctor that I've had as an adult who I really feel like listens to me and remembers my history/reads through my chart before I come to my appointment. She makes sure I raise all my concerns and is totally non judgmental- exactly what you'd hope for in a doctor.

5.0 star star star star starShe spent plenty of time with me to familiarize herself with my history and we discussed various medical issues I had. I didn’t feel like I wasn’t being heard or that she wanted to get it over. I also appreciated that she didn’t discuss my weight or BMI.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
