5.0 star star star star starErica is great. I had my 3 week Post-Op for my hip replacement yesterday and was a little nervous. Erica put me at ease answering all my questions patiently and thoroughly which made me feel good. Also, she is always quick to respond when I send a message on My Chart. I couldn't ask for better help. Really impressive.

5.0 star star star star starToday I received an injection in my right knee, and once again, the team was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Erika administered my injection so gently that I didn't feel any pain at all. She truly listened to my concerns and immediately started the process for my next treatment. I deeply appreciate the compassion and professionalism of the entire NM Orthopaedics team _ they make every visit a positive experience.

5.0 star star star star starErica was very caring And took time to explain my postop status as well as going over how to care for my wound moving forward. Erica also make sure to discuss with me particular movements to avoid giving visual examples of what to do instead. She also explained next steps.

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor I spoke to on follow up was very kind and caring, took her time with bandage to avoid hurting me and helped me understand after care . I felt safe and reassured with her. I had everything explained and didn't feel judged for my incision care as many doctors have done before to me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
