Dr Kansal is so smart, knowledgeable, calm, cool-headed, kind, sippprtive, empathic and thorough. She does a comprehensive exam, is excellent at assessing the situation and health issues and finds solutions quickly and efficiently all while maintaining incredible bedside manner. I completely trust her and feel very safe in her hands. She is an excellent doctor - one of the best NMH has ever had. She goes above and beyond to provide service even when we can't see each other in person. She and her team answer all questions through my chart quickly and when urgent !! says we arose, she finds a way to get us on her schedule and see us. She and her team are incredibly helpful.

She really knocked it out of the park. Based on sound research she has a holistic approach to weight loss, offering solutions that are sensible and smart. I feel confident she's one of the best in her field. She really cares for the patient and makes sure to explain clearly the reasons behind her recommendations. She's sensitive to how much weight loss can be a struggle, and has a really humane approach.

Dr. Kansal is fantastic. When I met with her she gave me all the information I needed (and didn't even know I needed) to feel very confident in the way we decided to move forward. She is extremely knowledgeable, and really spends the time to get to know the person and share with them why she is recommending a course of action. I sincerely believe she cares about me and she takes the time and effort to show that in her consultations.

Dr K is an example of the best and most professionally knowledgeable doctor who has retained her compassion and understands how to give her time to her patients. I suspect she is very undervalued at Northwestern, a for "profit organization" that cares "primarily" for making a profit and paying its' executives high salaries. I have known this for years as my husband was a NW surgical resident and left NW. Dr Kansal is the definition of "primary care " as she "primarily cares "for her patients in the most unselfish way. Northwestern is very lucky to have her.

Even though my appointment was near the end of the work day, she took the time to discuss everything that had been going on with my health over the last year. She also assisted me with getting some follow-up appointments I needed with other providers by providing their contact info or sending messages.

First; I was late and she still made time to see me and give a thorough exam to addressing all my needs. I travel all the way from Texas to see her. Do you have a # higher than 10? She is an amazing physician! She takes the time to converse with me about my health, my progress and how she can best guide me in the future. I see her for a specialty and can't imagine that she treats her GP patients any differently. She is knowledgeable and savvy and goes the extra mile to help her patients navigate tricky issues with drug companies. She and her staff are responsive through the portal. I truly can't say enough good things about Dr. Kansal.
