5.0 star star star star starDr. Rho discovered my lung cancer. He is outstanding! He reviews my records, talks with me about what's going on medically, and comes to a decision with me involved. He spends time with me during the appointment discussing options. He is understanding and his knowledge and expertise are incredible. I know how busy doctors are but there are very few on my care team like Dr. Rho.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rho went above and beyond. He ordered additional testing to determine the cause of my pain, even though it very likely was not pulmonary related. End result is, due to his efforts, the problem was identified and is being addressed by the appropriate specialist.

5.0 star star star star starDr Rho was very thorough. He spent a lot of time asking important question's about my health. He explained a treatment plan completely so I understood the plan. He was very personable, kind, and did not make me feel he was rushing through my appointment. He was actually wonderful. A lovely thing to see a doctor that is not rushing through an appointment. 5.0 star star star star starWe recently switched to Dr. Rho after feeling frustrated and confused with the lack of communication from our previous pulmonologist. Our family had so many unanswered questions, and we didn't fully understand the diagnosis or what the future held. Dr. Rho took the time to explain everything in detail, from previous lab results to CT chest scans, making sure we fully understood what was happening in the lungs. He patiently answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns, helping to ease the stress we had been feeling for so long. For the first time, we feel hopeful and confident in the care we're receiving. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Rho's expertise, compassion, and clear communication.

He is very responsive to messages and requests. All these help build a confident reassuring relationship! His staff, particularly Denise reflect his b leadership.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
