5.0 star star star star starDr. Sandeep Samant has such a calm, warming, inviting bedside manner. He listens. He takes his time. He answers questions. He includes you in on his medical approach to your condition. And he reassures you that everything is going to go just fine.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr. Samant really didn't have time to take good care of us. I am sorry to say this. Getting tests done quickly is impossible. We have switched to Rush were they have done things the same day and not made my son suffer more.

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Samant is an outstanding doctor. He cares about people and doesn't rush to do surgery on patients. When he does surgery he is very caring to his patients. He has another option, other than going downtown Chicago for me to see him. I so glad that I can talk and sing with no problems because I am a music teacher who needs both.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Samant is an excellent Dr. He cares about my condition, is aware of not only of the seriousness but answers all of my questions telling me all that I need to know. His sharing of his knowledge and compassion has created a trust relationship between us including husband. He usually says “what else do you have for meâ€. He always wants to make sure all of my questions are answered .

4.0 star star star star star_borderOverall I'm pleased with my follow-up appointments. The doctor has been professional, as have been all of the staff that I've come in contact with during my visits. But I would like to see the doctor, any doctor, spend more time with me when I do have a question or concern about my health. I know that the standard time these days with patients these days seems to be 15 minutes or so. My visit was around 5 minutes. My concerns about feeling fatigued and my ability to still not taste most foods wasn't really addressed. It was if I wasn't being heard.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
