Dr Samant is professional, knowledgeable and communicated very well with me. Dr. Samant patiently explained the 3 treatment options in my particular case and was willing to explain until I understood the options. Dr. Samant was very collaborative in his approach, he waited for me to make a decision before proceeding. I felt Dr Samant had my best interests as his highest priority.

I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Samant guide me through the last six years since my original diagnosis of cancerous lymph node. His knowledge, experience, and manner have been the best I have experienced, giving me a great level of confidence in him. He presented the options to me and provided the answers I needed.

Caring, concerned man for his patients. Spends time with his patients explaining his plan and expertise and answers all your questions. There should be more physicians and specialists with his caring concerned bedside manners. I was in good hands with Dr Samant.

He is kind, personal, takes an appropriate amount of time with me, answers all questions, is intelligent and examines the information about me (CT SCANS, MRI’s etc.) before he sees me and is prepared to answer my questions and to plan for surgery. Is humble and gracious.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
