5.0 star star star star starDr. Stolar is the best PC MD I've ever had, and I'm 70 years old. I've had many physical issues over the last few years and he has been with me every step of the way. I'm not sure where I would be without him. He is knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and I trust him completely.

5.0 star star star star starDr Solar is so great , he understands and listens his patients and does not make me feel discredited. He is on top of all the lastest studies and open to hear what his patients think, not just keeping a protocol. He always is kind and explains things in a way I can understand them. He also remembers things about my life (you just got married, you ran a race etc) that makes me feel like he is personally interested in my health. He is one of the best Dr's I ever had !!!

5.0 star star star star starI think I have a good relationship with Mark Stolar that goes back many years. I like his relaxed listening style, which sets me at ease. He addresses my concerns, even if they are not always or even often conclusive -- which after all is the nature of science, especially medical science -- and he suggests reasons and possible ways of checking (tests, for example). I'm giving the McHenry venue and Dr. Stolar a nine rather than a ten because I like to think there's always room for improvement.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stolar has been our primary internist & endocrinologist since very early 90’s. He is the BEST. He INSTANTLY got what I was saying because he listened. Something must doctors don’t do these days.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stolar has always given me his focus and attention to my personal health concerns. He always listens closely to what is said, and reacts appropriately and professionally. I know that I can trust him to recommend the best solutions to any problem I share with him, be it pharmaceutical or medical referral. If there is a problem with a medication, I know that he will make prompt changes. He is always prompt in his responses to MyChart.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stolar listened to ALL of my concerns and genuinely cared about helping me. I’ve had a hard time trusting anyone in the healthcare industry lately but I called my boyfriend once I left and told him how excited I was and that my faith in doctors was restored.

5.0 star star star star starHe definitely understands me and what I need to feel comfortable and get the best medical care. I have stayed with him even though he moved to McHenry office because he listens and combines his feedback with the best medical experience and background.

5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Stolar for over 20 years, going on 30. He's kind, doesn't use 'jargon' in his explanations, is honest without coming off rude or insensitive, and he doesn't throw a pill at everything. He was even willing to stop being my primary if I didn't stop smoking (lucky for me I had stopped before it came to that). I know some day he will retire, but I'm hoping we go through this senior phase together.

5.0 star star star star starHe has been my PCP for a long time. He solves mysteries, has excellent diagnostic skills, listens to all my questions and concerns. He honors what he wrote in a medical journal in that he truly believes the relationship with patients is sacro-sanct. I followed him from Gold Coast to McHenry because he is worth his weight in Gold.

5.0 star star star star starWhen you have found the very best, no need to look elsewhere. Dr Stoler is unmatched for his care and concern. Highly knowledgeable especially in the area of diabetic care and medicines associated with that disease. He is very cooperative with other physicians and very humble in the knowledge he brings to the table for treating the WHOLE patient. Not afraid to offer a choice in medical solutions.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
