5.0 star star star star starEllen was great, she communicated very clearly and it was obvious she knew a lot about the medications she was considering. I really liked that she took the time to explain why she wasn't using certain medications, as I felt more involved/respected in the process.

5.0 star star star star starEllen patiently listened to my concerns before doing any diagnosis. She also did a basic check to make sure that my vitals were fine. Additionally, she tried to explain me why I was having the certain health related issues based on the information that I provided her. She also was careful to make sure that I do not have any certain allergies before providing me any medication. She also took the time to explain which medications she is providing me and for what reason. Overall, I felt really satisfied with my diagnosis.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
