5.0 star star star star starDr. McGraw takes time with us, listens carefully to us, and is very thorough with her exams. She is a good communicator who explains very complicated information so we can understand it and be a part of solutions.

5.0 star star star star starI have 2 friends with Parkinson's who are not treated at Northwestern, and their care has been far less. I've gotten speech therapy (they need it but it was never recommended). I've gotten meds for anxiety and depression (they need it but it was never recommended). I love how my neurologist specializes in movement disorders; how she works with a multi-disciplinary team; and how she stays up on the new treatments.

5.0 star star star star starI always have numerous questions for Dr McGraw and her responses are so informative giving great history and background and current data. She is also keenly aware of how the patient is feeling and addresses those concerns without being asked.

5.0 star star star star starDr. McGraw thinks deeply about what will medically work and what won’t work for my particular case of Parkinson’s. She is kind, supportive, and always with her care. She keeps me moving forward with our shared sense of humor. I could not ask for a better physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
