5.0 star star star star starHe is very knowledge and explained my situation very clearly. He was also very supportive of PT services before and after surgery. Highly value him being my Doctor. Never looked at a computer screen during the visit.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ramakumar was excellent. He made me feel completely at ease, listened to me as the individual patient and not a computer screen or brushing off my concerns. He is an active listener and I will absolutely recommend him in the future.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ramakumar is one of the best doctors. I had issues with my previous Urologist and came to him for a consultation. Glad I did! His demeanor and personality and ability to explain things to people is something all doctors should be like!!

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first time with Dr. Ramakumar as my doctor. Pretty much a get to know each other appointment, he will perform a cystoscopy on Feb. 21. My first experience was great. He was already informed on my medical history, verified some facts and was friendly, informative and professional.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ramakumar spent a lot of time explaining to me my treatment options as well as fully explaining exactly what the condition of my kidney(s). All in a way a patient like me could understand. His manner while entirely professional was also very personable and I felt as tho I was with someone who cares.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
