5.0 star star star star starDr. Zinn's management of my asthma has changed my life for the better. Her clinic sometimes runs late, but I think this is because she takes the time to listen and discuss her patients' concerns, which is a trade-off I'm happy to make. She is great at explaining her thought process and I always feel comfortable following her recommendations. Her nursing staff is also excellent. I feel well cared for as a patient in this practice.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zinn is amazing. She is very knowledgeable in her field and others. She asks a lot of questions which trigger me to remember symptoms that I might have forgotten. She has ordered tests that other pulmonologists hadn't which led to a diagnosis that had been missed for a while. Her follow through is excellent. It might sound like I am describing an arrogant doctor but Dr. Zinn is the opposite. She is very personable and approachable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zinn is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend her. She is kind, thorough, patient and understanding. When you have a question or don't quite understand what she is explaining to you, she takes the time to ensure that you do understand. She is never 'short' with you or makes you feel inferior. After my appointments, I always feel as though I am completely informed in regard to my health and I 'comfortable' and feel more at ease.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zinn is tops. She takes time with you to discuss any of your new and old problems. Dr. Zinn reviews your records the night before your visit. There is never a visit during which she doesn't have a clue of why you are there. When communicating with mychart, you always receive either a written response from her staff or a phone call. She cares about you.

5.0 star star star star starI hadn’t seen Dr. Mary Zinn since 2017 and I know she works hard for her patients and would like to see you probably once a year to follow up on how you are doing, so I was a little worried she wouldn’t want to bother with me, but she was great! When her nurse told me I had a whole hour with her, I was so happy because it’s unheard of now a days and I had some serious things that had happened to me and I knew I needed to come see Dr. Zinn because I know she’s a very good doctor despite me not being the best patient. She’s very thorough and compassionate and I needed that whole hour with her so I’m really happy I saw her and I know if I need to talk to her I can go thru my chart and leave her messages! It was a great appt. just for the fact that I had the time with her and didn’t feel rushed and stressed out like I usually feel. I wish I could find a regular doctor like her because I feel doctors have changed because they over book. Get them in and get them out and it may not be the doctors fault, it may be the health care system they work for that puts doctors in this position. Anyway it was a great appt. with Dr. Zinn!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
