5.0 star star star star starI have been seen by Alexa, and Bridget, for my knee and shoulder from an accident in February 2025, all this time. Alexa has been able to integrate taking into consideration my wrist that was broken on the same side as the knee and shoulder 1 1/2 years ago, and also Meniere's Disease, which can limit what exercises I am able to do and even what tests I can have or positions I can be put in for examination purposes. I greatly appreciate and marvel at her ability to take more about me into consideration than simply the body parts I hurt in a fall. I know how valuable that is because I've worked with other therapists over time who have ignored my limitations, and the outcomes were not what I had hoped. I truly value her care and we've just added 5 more exercises to the 4 I'm already doing, so I hope this can continue until I make more progress and can continue on my own!

5.0 star star star star starShe was thorough in her examination of my current physical status and proceeded to test the strength of my muscular frame and put me through several procedures so she could gauge what my needs were relating to her therapy.

5.0 star star star star starFor the reasons I stated above. During the treatment, which has lasted for several months for 2 body parts, because of a fall, she has gotten a little more relaxed and conversational, like me, and I have gotten more disciplined and tougher like her! Just realized that today!

5.0 star star star star starAlexa has pin-pointed a couple of changes which I could make to my way of walking which have increased my stability. She is an optimist which can be a key quality to helping a patient regain ability,-ies. She is also realistic about goals.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
