5.0 star star star star starBecause my primary was not available yesterday, Chase Salazar MD attended me. Because this was our first time meeting, it took a little time for me to outline some of my medical history regarding the headache concern. Dr. Salazar took the time to listen and understand the issue. He developed a plan and explained it.

5.0 star star star star starMy previous primary care doctor of 15 years had just retired somewhat suddenly. I was looking for a skilled younger doctor to take me through my health issues and would hopefully be the last primary care doctor I would need. He not only met that need but exceeded my expectations.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very attentive and straightforward with me. I can tell he had a lot of work to juggle but he seemed to be handling it very well and it didn't seem to distract at all from the care he gave me.

5.0 star star star star starDr Salazar spent a lot of time getting to know my overall health profile since I was a new patient. I like that he spent the time to establish that before addressing my acute concern, which he also spent a lot of time discussing and examining. I never felt rushed even though I know the office was very busy. He quickly entered my meds for the acute concern, asked about any maintenance and made sure my referral was entered.

5.0 star star star star starAs an older person who has experienced many doctors of all ages, I found Dr. Salazar to be among the best that I have encountered through the years. He was patient and appears to be very knowledgeable of the multiple types of problems that i am dealing with. It was my first visit with him and I felt every confidence that I was in excellent hands.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
