5.0 star star star star starDr. Malde is wonderful! She goes over everything!! She doesn’t miss anything. She is thorough, concerned, and super kind. She also speaks to me like a person. I would recommend her to any person who asked!!

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe listens well and took her time w me. However, she speaks Very Fast!! With her mask on and her really fast speech, it was difficult to understand her sometimes. Wouldn’t be an issue with no mask, but with mask she needs to Slow her talking a bit.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Malde accommodated a last minute request for a same-day appointment. She was running 45 minutes, which is typical, but she had an assistant call to inform me, allowing me to do others things instead of sitting in front of my phone slavishly waiting for the text that our appointment was about to begin. I really appreciated this. Dr. Malde typically takes a minute or two to type up her notes before discussing her diagnosis with me. I appreciated that she took a moment first to tell me that she was going to do this and that she’d then be ready to discuss my diagnosis and treatment.

5.0 star star star star starI was referred to Dr Malde for chronic seasonal allergy problems. Although I know she must see people in my situation a hundred times a week, she listened attentively to my history and current symptoms. Together, we discussed a plan for treatment based on my personal needs and life circumstances. She is no-nonsense and, at the same time, kind and patient. She took the time to explain the reasons for all of her recommendations. I believe she takes my care very seriously.

5.0 star star star star starDr Malde was fantastic, I left my appointment with very clear instructions on how to manage my symptoms and she answered all of my questions, at times before I had the chance to ask because her explanations were very thorough. In fact I already have recommended her.

5.0 star star star star starI like her very much. Other than the frustration we both had as outlined above were my issues are outside of her widest area of knowledge I think she is a very good doctor. We covered a great deal of ground in an initial appointment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
