5.0 star star star star starMarie is the best. She probably saved my life with regard to psychotropics to help my anxiety and depression and trialing ADHD drugs. She noticed a nodule on a CT scan after I followed up with her after an ER visit. My PCP team missed it, and so I'd still have a growing carcinoma on my thyroid if it weren't for Marie. After my neuropsychology assessment results were available, Marie recommended DASC for therapy, and it has changed my life to work with the therapist there, start DBT therapy, get into a weekly group, and have a real path towards healing and having a better life. And so Marie has saved my life a few times over now and I'll always be grateful to her.

5.0 star star star star starShe is an excellent listener and collaborator with me as her patient, and offers good insights. When I expressed my concern that my medication dosage was too high she listened. She worked with me to gradually lower the dosage, while carefully monitoring my response. I am now very close to being able to discontinue my antidepressant after a decade.

5.0 star star star star starMarie Elizabeth is very efficient. She has incredible bedside manner. We spent a good part of the hour going through each of my medication's to make sure they were active and being used and I had to take a quick five minutes survey on my levels of anxiety, which were just fine

5.0 star star star star starMarie is just a great person and an awesome practitioner. She listens and just gets me, and this helps to understand what other resources I might need, as well as what might be going on in my life that is causing increased symptoms.

5.0 star star star star starMarie Villanueva is awesome!!!! I had been transferred from one person to another before I was assigned to her. I was at the point that I was truly ready to give up on trying to get help because none of them listened to me nor helped me. One kept falling asleep during my appointment. Anyway, Marie Villanueva not only listens to me, since the first appointment with her, she has been helping and I've been making progress. I feel she had been, has been, is, and always will truly help me even when I'm at my lowest point. She takes her job seriously and truly cares for her patients!!!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
