5.0 star star star star starHe is top rate. I can't tell you enough what a great Dr. he is! He knows how to listen to his patients and he takes the time to listen! I would recommend him to all my friends and family. I am getting the very best care in my opinion!

5.0 star star star star starAs stated above Dr Rich was very personal, friendly and most of all kind. What was most remarkable is that he spoke directly to me. He was not distracted by a computer. A number of Physicians I see do not even look me in the eye and spend the whole visit reading and typing on a computer. He makes you feel listen to and attempts to meet your needs and questions.

5.0 star star star star starIt has often been said that a first impression is a lasting impression and can only be achieved once. Dr. Rich was terrific. He had spent time going over my history and came will prepared to make recommendations for my ongoing care. He listened attentively and asked thoughtful questions. I feel fortunate that he is my heart failure physician.

5.0 star star star star starTook the time to answer my questions only thing I wasn't happy about was trying to book the appointments he told me to I live in Indiana n I'd like to get everything testing done in one visit n it seems like I could not get in in the 4 to 6 weeks to do it so they scheduled me in October which means I'm waiting 5 weeks longer?

5.0 star star star star starExcellent experience. He was very patient and thorough. He reviewed the medical history and presented a reasonable and logical plan to move forward. He was very understanding and supportive when we discussed the idea of a second opinion.

5.0 star star star star starI think this should be obvious from my earlier comments. I not only trust Dr. Rich with my heart, but he seems like such a great person, like someone you want to have a conservation with while having a beer. It seems ironic sense I no longer drink.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
