Dr. Patil set up an early office appointment to explain the procedure fully. When I initially met him in the hospital after an ER admission for SVT (HR)172 he suggested taking me to the EP lab the next day. I needed more time and information to make a decision. He was willing to do that. Dr. Patil was a new EP doctor for me. My former doc, [full name], is at Glenbrook and was out on surgical leave. With the emergency nature I went to nearest ER at NW for care.

This was the first time I had an exam by Dr. Kaustubha and he explained about the different types of Cardiologist. During his exam he noticed one of the prescriptions I was taking likely creating a health problem His recommendation was to stop taking the medication which was also apparently approved by my Northwestern Medical Primary Physician.
