5.0 star star star star starI really appreciate Dr. Desai's care and recommendation to see Dr. Neil Stone. This has led to me using Repatha for cholesterol lowering and it has been amazing to see how quickly I am getting results.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Desai it’s a very kind and calming Doctor needless to say no one wants to go to a cardiologist these days but he puts my anxiety at ease he fully explains everything that I need to have done and why he’s very patient I feel like I’m the only patient in the building because he doesn’t rush he has actual conversation with me he’s not just in an out and he even went out to the waiting room to explain to my son what they’re going to do and I thought that was very kind of him you picked a good one when you picked him I’m glad he’s my new cardiologist because Dr Pandit is no longer there but you already know that I guess so I got lucky

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough. Dr. Desai had completely reviewed my medical history before our first meeting. He's an excellent listener who knows his stuff and made me feel he had all the time in the world for me. He's an all around good guy.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
