5.0 star star star star starDr Michel is outstanding! He offered options for the persistent pain in my hands like no one else. He showed real empathy and really tried to diagnose my problem. I left his office hopeful for the first time in many months.

5.0 star star star star starFor the reasons stated in the prior answer. Additionally, Dr. Michel took the time to review my recent medical history, reviewed various options with me and conducted some simple physical test to rule out some issues.

5.0 star star star star starAs wementione above, Dr Michel has been very helpful in this interim period. I actually did have ateleconfernce with him which was most helpful when I could not get to the officeand I appreciate that he went out of his way to set up th call and his advice is working out very well. We have had other good contacts as well

5.0 star star star star starDr. Michel was filling in for my usual doctor, who is on leave of absence. But never once did I feel like Dr. Michel was "going through the motions." He was thorough in his questioning about my health and took the time to listen. I have no doubt that his advice and recommendations will make me a healthier person. Thank you, Dr. Michel.

5.0 star star star star starHe was thorough and was extremely helpful. He is experienced which is more than I can say for some of the doctors. Some of them are younger than my grandchildren and they walk in the room and call me by my first name. So disrespectful. My husband was a physician and never called his patients by their first name. They all me Eve and introduce themselves as doctor so and so.

5.0 star star star star starHe was everything you would want in a Dr. Great eye contact, Thorough review of past medical history and current medical situation. He listened very well and took all symptoms, medicines ( 3 different prescriptions) and how I was feeling currently, I felt 100 % confident in his recommendations.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Amaury I. Michel was wonderful; he encouraged me to exercise in a way that had the right effect on me. Now, I have started a program. He also responded to my 1,000 questions with patience and care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
