5.0 star star star star starShe’s an amazingly good clinician and has excellent communication skills. Northwestern might consider her transferring patients differently. We could easily stay with the previous system that is more convenient.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderProvider wasn’t wearing appropriate attire (no white coat), long hair not tied. She didn’t appear interested in the patient. No eye contact. Seemed rushed. It was my first visit and she hardly asked any questions about my condition. Spent time typing and looking at the computer. The physical exam seemed very brief and not thorough. She didn’t listen to my concerns and dismissed me when I brought up questions. I doubt I’ll be coming back to see her. It’s unfortunate because I’ve been with NW Rheumatology for 8 yrs and always had a great experience with my providers.

5.0 star star star star starShe took her time to review my chart, asked questions and engaged me during my exam to make certain I understood her recommendations and any changes she might have made to my charts. I walked out feeling reassured my healthcare was met with knowledge and care.

5.0 star star star star starShe is amazing. Young, beautiful, very chatty, caring and smart. The whole package. She genuinely cares about the patient. I was only diagnosed 9 months ago with scleroderma and have been a little scared and probably depressed ever since, but just her tone and confidence puts me at ease. I’m scared, I’m grieving and nobody gets it but her... I’m grieving myself, the old Sue, the one that doesn’t have scleroderma

5.0 star star star star starDr Richardson was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She seemed very concerned about what I was going through and about my health. She made me feel like she cared about my health and wanted the best treatments for me. She listened to what I said and the questions I had. She didn’t try to rush through my appointment.

5.0 star star star star starIt appeared that she had studied my LONG history before this first "change of care" visit. However, and despite Covid, I would have expected a more hands-on examination (as Dr. Correia had done for our first/only visit in 2021).

5.0 star star star star starDr. Richardson nailed a difficult diagnosis, and has repeatedly advocated for me with pharmaceutical/insurance for the best interventions. She always gets them. Diagnostically sharp, collaborative, and extremely responsive.

5.0 star star star star starVery good Doctor with a strong educational background, medical training and professional experience. Dr. Richardson was easy to talk to and spent a great deal of time with me. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I feel very lucky to have a Scleroderma specialist in Chicago that works with a research team for the disease.

5.0 star star star star starShe is the best. She never quits. She explains everything in detail. She answered any question that I had as well. She’s one of the best doctors I have been too…and I’ve been to a lot trust me. She is so personable and an actual human that cares. I have found most doctors are robots and get want to get in and get out. Not her. She actually cares and made me feel like how I was feeling actually mattered. I will never go to anyone else. Ever!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
