5.0 star star star star starShe's a great Dr. She cares and listens. I often feel very sick, but my blood work doesn't always show it and she doesn't dismiss how my feeling regardless of results. She thinks of ways to help me feel better.

5.0 star star star star starI felt completely comfortable with Dr. Richardson and her explanation of my disease process. I felt she was so incredibly knowledgeable about what she was telling me, and that she really cared that I start to feel better. She spent time explaining things and did not make me feel like she was rushing to her next patient. She was very prompt with her follow up after my lab results were available, and she explained the results to me. She then went a step further and answered a question I had when I sent it to her. I have never had that happen before with a physician. I definitely feel this is above and beyond and the kind of care that really is important to patients. I for the first time since my scleroderma diagnosis a year ago feel like I am getting the care I need. Thank you Dr. Richardson!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Richardson is wonderful. We drive 2 hrs each way to see her. She explained my medical problems to my husband and I thoroughly. She is personable, friendly, and still professional. What we really love is that she doesn't make us feel like we need to hurry up so she can move on to the next patient, as so many doctors now do. We feel like individuals, like I have a serious, complex health diagnosis, and she is going to take the time to provide good treatment options.

5.0 star star star star starBecause of Dr. Richardson - she is very knowledgeable in many different areas and specializes in my disease so I'm happy to have her as my dr. She makes time for me when more urgent health issues arise and it's very much appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starI have already referred a very good friend to Dr. Richardson. I don't think she has made an appt because of her being downtown. I refer anyone I know who is looking for a rheumatologist to Dr. Richardson.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
