Dr. Yen took a detailed history of my disease, spent a lot of time discussing treatment and follow up care. He listened thoroughly and answered and/or addressed all of my concerns. Looking forward to him being my point person for this area. I feel like I am in good hands.

Dr Yen is so knowledgeable in the area of Crohn's disease (my issue) as well of course in other GI areas. He is so approachable, friendly, bright and highly skilled. He is an outstanding physician - I followed him from the practice he was at before Northwestern. He is a gem.

Dr. Yen was very understanding of my issues I have been dealing with. He listened to me and made me feel heard. When he explained his answers to what could help me he made me feel like I was finally going to have some relief from what I was dealing with. Took time to answer my questions and concerns and made me feel at ease for what he recommended. I left his exam room and felt so much better knowing he might have a solution to my issues.

So apparently when I was hospitalized at Northwestern Medicine earlier this year he was consulted on my case. So he already knew all about me. And when he came in to introduce himself he didn't miss a Beat in running down all of the details of my condition. Very impressive. Very nice to talk to. Seems very concerned about me and my condition. Offered me follow-up options. Great provider!
