5.0 star star star star starDr. Russo takes time and doesn't rush through the appointment. She is very thorough. The gel injection was done with accompanying ultrasound to insure that the gel was delivered to the correct location in my knee.

5.0 star star star star starShe LISTENS, she does NOT rush me ever. She includes me on all decision making. I think she is excellent with her techniques as well (Shots in the knee area and injection in my hand). She made it as comfortable as can be for me.

5.0 star star star star starAs always Dr. Russo was caring, kind, cheerful and quickly able to assess where I am with my chronic injury and what my next steps are. She consistently exemplifies what a doctor should be. Her bedside manner is absolutely top tier, I actually look forward to seeing her (an extremely rarity feeling for patients I can assure you) knowing I 100% trust her expertise and care.

5.0 star star star star starDr Russo was thorough and thoughtful. She showed she cared by listening and understanding my needs. She not only understood my physical problems but circumstances in my general life - my limitations due to out of state university studies and travel etc. Made several helpful real life recommendations (types of shoes to wear, exercises to do), was sensitive to and responsive to my needs (privacy to change), I never felt rushed. Her examination was professional and pleasant. We laughed, we bonded over similar experiences. I felt a connection that made me trust her.

5.0 star star star star starDr Cherise Russo. By FAR the best I have encountered in all my years of seeing medical people. Intelligent, friendly, thorough, gave me all the time I needed. NEVER rushed. And the ONLY physician to write a PT order with a list of SPECIFIC treatments for me. ALL other physicians write "Evaluate and Treat" for PTs. A real partner.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
